Where: Information Clinic

These are the notes I jotted down while at the clinic. They are in unedited, raw form. I didn't have time to put in the line breaks so it's enclosed in pre tags, making it monospace.

The ball drops in an arc, it practically hits the rope a foot down.

Would it be possible to shoot something up and catch the ball after it lands? No, because you need to use the rope.

"Can the device wind up the rope?" Yes.

Can a device telescope up? No, it can't be more than 3 feet when fully extended.

Can the device trigger the drop and catch I on the ground? Yes, but you shouldn't.

The wires can be more than 3 feet.

Can you store energy in a spring? yes, but not too big.

What do we get for winning? "Prizes" and "experiences."

You can do something manually.

personal:

Today, Brian, Jamie, and I met at the information clinic. Tevis couldn't come but we'll fill him in on monday. We learned a lot and Brian took many photossand videos inccluding a video of the ball dropping. We discussed some ideas as well as discovered what others' were from the Q&A session. Jamie and I both took notes.

Jamie:

The advisors clinic has good ideas
    scaled down prototypes... interesting
Adults are a recorce, we ask the questions (specific) they don't suggest
good idea for the meeting this weekend
Linda is a recorce for emotional problems but I'll bet by that she didn't mean that she is the official problem solver
you need a team name for spirit
we've all got pda's I'm starting to realize just how usefull that's gonna be
