Where: My House

I built the control box I agreed to build today. My dad helped but I did most of it. I changed the design from a box to two switches the operator holds in his hands. I think it will be a lot easier to operate this way. I wasn't able to integrate a variable resistor into it because the one from Brian goes from 0 to 100 KOhms and the range we need is about 0-24 Ohms. This is because the motor will be about 1 Amp at 12 Volts. The big resistor worked but it didn't have the fine control we need.

just called Eric and the worm gear problem has made it nearly impossible to come down when at the top. I am wondering if we're actually going to make it to the challenge.
