K'NEX challenge

My re-introduction to building K'NEX tower sparked an idea. Maybe there are other people out there who would like to do this. Maybe they would like to compete. So, I started the K'NEX tower challenge.

The idea would be for every participant to submit a photo of their free-standing tower that they built with a yard-stick to check measurement and a height measurement. All towers would be posted on my website and the winner may walk away with a prize. The prize depends on the interest level. This would be really fun for me and I would hope that it would be for others. If there was a lot of interest, the towers would be divided into weight classes, which would also allow people with fewer K'NEX to compete strongly. My current record is 15ft but that was with no weight limit.

At this point, I'm just getting started and the challenge rules and dates aren't solid yet. There is a possibility of prizes. If you're interested in participating, please email me at weberic@svallens.com.
